Pillow Talk

All three of us were cuddling in bed this morning, giggling and talking. Our "conversation" went as follows:

Daniel: (pointing to himself) "Ava, who's this?"
Ava: "DA!"
Daniel: (pointing to me) "Who's that?"
Ava: "Mama!"
Daniel: (pointing to Ava) "Who's that?"
Ava: "YOU!"

How to explain to her that she's "you" when I address her, but "me" when she addresses herself?

Bubble Bath

Ava loved the bubbles from the baby soap so much that I got her a bottle of bubble bath at Walmart. Now, anytime we got into the bathroom, she points at the tub and says, "BUBBLES!" It's her new favorite thing.

Aloha Hawaii

Loving it here. Resting, spending lots of time outside ("'side!" as Ava would say), going barefoot, walking a lot, admiring how Ava's red ringlets shine in the sun.
