Surf's Up
The surf was pumping this weekend, with wave faces upwards of twenty feet. We (along with seemingly every other visitor and resident of O'ahu) headed up to the North Shore. Ava especially had a blast. Though it was much cooler than we expected--in the sixties and drizzly, to say nothing of the sea spray--she was so excited to be out and about. Here's a pic of her and Dad together:

It's good that she loves the ocean, at least as long as it's not touching her. It would be an unfortunate waste of the blessing of being a Hawaiian otherwise.
