Daniel's firm gave me a baby shower on Thursday night. We created a mad lib story while we were there. We thought you might enjoy the result:
"Jill stopped everything she was doing when she felt a sudden painful contraction in her big toe. Of course, the first thing she did was go to Daiei and jump to keep her mind off the discomfort.
When the contractions became more frequent, Daniel suggested that she eat until she knew for sure if she was in labor. She slyly declined. She was sure it was time to go to Moanalua and give birth to her hot baby.
Before leaving, she called the lawyer and said she would be leaving right after she breathed. Within 37 minutes of hanging up the phone, she was the point where she could not even talk during a contraction. When Daniel walked into the bathroom and saw her on her hands and knees hiccupping he said, "We are going NOW!" and quickly packed up the Civic and got everything ready.
The drive to Moanalua was cute. When Jill arrived, the lawyer examined her. She was 8 centimeters dilated and the baby's nose was right there. The lawyer suggested she try hoping through a few contractions. It worked! Her flyswatter broke! One hundred and three more pushes and a loud "Egad!" later, the baby was born.
Baby Tiddle was so perfect, with a smart belly button and six fingers and toes. Everyone noticed immediately that the baby had his father's cheek and his mother's ear. He weighed 11 pounds, 10 ounces and was 43 inches long."
