Me: Ava, be quiet, go to sleep.
Ava: AAAA!
Me: AVA, be quiet, go...
Ava: AAAAAA!
Me: Ava, AVA, be quiet...
Ava: *raspberry*
Me: Ava, be...
Ava: AAAAAA!!!
Ah, mother-daughter bonding time.

Let me get this straight, Ava said "raspberry with lips"?
No, she's not talking or even close, just making little sounds, nonsense really.
So what is "raspberry with lips"? This generation's new language! A metaphor?
Ah-ha, google *raspberry with lips*... top hit "Rumor has it raspberry pink lips are going to be hotter than ever for Spring" Too fashion conscious for 5 months.

Check out the link I posted for raspberry. It should explain things. If you try to say "pbbb" while trying to force spit out of your mouth, you arrive at the approximate sound.
P.S. I hope that she is interested in having raspberry lips at no time in the near future. If she is, Daddy will have to get a shotgun, per your suggestion
